How to Set Volume Buttons to Turn Pages on Kindle for Android App

Kindle for Android is one of the best e-Reader apps for the Android platform and it brings a lot of books to the user from the Amazon market. One can have a Kindle account and sync it with all devices that support the Kindle app and the Amazon Kindle or the Amazon Kindle Fire itself, making it the most convenient way to sync and read books.
You can download the Kindle for Android app from the Play store here.
While using this app, it makes it really easy to use the volume button on the sides to turn between pages as and when needed. While holding your phone, the volume buttons on the edges of your phone will come of great use as they will be just across the fingers of the user’s hands. To set this on the Kindle app, follow these instructions :
  1. Open the Kindle app on your Android phone by choosing the app from the App drawer.
  2. Now press the menu/options button and choose the ‘More’ option as seen there.
  3. Choose settings and the settings menu pops up.
  4. Here, account settings and device settings are seen. Under device settings, there is an option called Volume Button Control which needs to be turned on by tapping on it. Once the checkbox is ticked, the option gets enabled.
